In Rohtak, Haryana, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) will soon establish a campus in Millennium City, Gurgaon. 6 acres of land have also been chosen for this. In sector 43, the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HSVP) has allocated 6 acres of land for IIM near hospital Paras. Although there was a possibility of 10 acres earlier being given. HSVP is now working on a 90-day legal framework for the transfer of land to the Institute.

IIM Rohtak is an institution of national importance, created in 2009 by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India by the IIM Act 2017. It aims to advocate for science, teaching, public policy and executive education excellence. IIM Rohtak was ranked 21st by NIRF in the Management category in 2020, among the top five IIMs for study. In the Outlook-ICARE India MBA Ranking 2020, it was also ranked 11. IIM Rohtak offers a range of Management Stream courses, including UG, analysis and executive courses. Via six departments, these courses are delivered in both full-time and short-term modes.

The building of Rohtak Campus will be initiated by the Indian Institutes of Management after this. Then, in 3 to 4 years, the campus will be ready. MBA executive programs would initially be implemented at the institute. Taking advantage of these, business-related individuals as well as different corporate sectors will be able to research and remain in the town. On 6 acres of land, IIM Rohtak Campus in Sector-43 will be established.

While 10 acres of land was first pursued to create the campus, if completion was not achieved, the problem became 6 acres. In reality, near Paras Hospital, HSVP gave IIM six acres of allocated land for educational institutions. It was proposed under the Master Plan to give this land to an educational institution. This land has been lying barren for a long time.

In such a scenario, this land was given to establish the campus of IIM Rohtak. IIM Rohtak’s campus building is likely to be finished in three to four years’ time. After that, leadership studies will begin. Doctoral courses, PG management courses and five-year integrated management courses will be offered, among others, at this camp.
