The Irish government declared undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships worth €12,00,000 for Indian students on Thursday. On February 27, it will host a virtual showcase (education fair) to put together prospective students from all over India and Sri Lanka with 20 of Ireland’s top higher education institutions. According to the government announcement, the scholarship amount designated for Sri Lankan students is 3,00,000 lakh Euros. “When it comes to scholarships, there are a variety of options. To begin with, Ireland’s higher education institutions offer merit-based scholarships. “Moreover, on the day of the showcase, Education in Ireland, as a national brand, will be awarding scholarships to ten Indian students,” said Giles O’Neill, Director of Education In Ireland.

The virtual showcase, which is aimed at students from South Asia, features 20 of Ireland’s top higher education institutions that deliver internationally recognised undergraduate and graduate programmes in finance, science, engineering, and humanities. Officials from the Irish Visa Office in New Delhi will talk and take part in the case, according to the statement. Institute of Technology Carlow, Trinity College, Dublin, Griffith College, Athlone Institute of Technology, University College Cork, and Dundalk Institute of Technology are among the institutes taking part in the virtual showcase.

“We are delighted to present the second virtual showcase of Irish education. These courses prove to be an ideal platform for providing students with ongoing real-time meetings, live Q&A sessions, audio and video chats with faculty and experts from the universities, as well as assisting students in increasing their engagement in a more viable manner “said Barry O’Driscoll, Education Ireland’s regional manager for India and South Asia. Attend informative workshops and information sessions on studying in Ireland, speak with college representatives and agents, get advice from official Irish government representatives, hear about scholarships, get the visa process clarified, and ask questions at the upcoming case.
