One of Tamil Nadu’s premier universities, Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli, has announced the launch of its online learning platform
According to the National Education Policy 2020, the University made this special announcement as part of an effort to increase access to high-quality education (NEP2020). Learners will be able to access the best Bharathidasan University programmes online by learning modules with these online degrees. Learners will also be able to take remote proctored exams from anywhere using the website http://www.bdu.ac.in/cde/ol. Live instruction will be supplemented by high-quality course material, study guides, practise exercises, discussion boards, archived tutorials, and gamified modules.
Bharathidasan University, an NAAC A+ rated university that is among India’s top 55 universities, has announced the launch of its undergraduate and postgraduate diploma programmes on its online learning platform, which is driven by a sophisticated learning management system. These high-quality online levels will enable students to enrol in Bharathidasan University’s best programmes through a best-in-class learning module. Learners may also use www.bdu.ac.in/cde/ol to search for remote proctored exams from anywhere.
To meet the growing demand for trade-specific skills, the University will offer MBA and BBA degrees through its studying portal www.bdu.ac.in/cde/ol. The aim of having Online MBA and Online BBA degrees is to help prepare increasingly highly qualified, trade-prepared professionals for the modern, technologically advanced economy. BA Tamil, BA English, MA Economics, MA English, MA History, MA Political Science, MA Public Administration, MA Tamil, and MSc Information Technology are some of the other online degrees available.

Our e-learning website, www.bdu.ac.in/cde/ol, has just launched our Online Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. These online degrees will provide students with an immersive, classroom-like learning experience as well as personalised support to ensure their success. These programmes are in line with the current National Education Policy 2020, and we are confident that they will contribute to the advancement of inclusive education.”
The introduction of these programmes would contribute to the cause of high-quality higher education in India, as envisaged in the NEP 2020, with improved internet access and rising expectations of a younger India. The learning resources for each subject in Bharathidasan University’s Online programmes are extremely engaging and interactive, allowing students to learn the fundamentals while also learning from real-world case studies in the industry. It was established in February 1982 and is named after Bharathidasan, a great revolutionary Tamil poet (1891-1964). The University aspires to be true to such foresight by establishing a “brave new world of academic innovation for social change” within the region.
There are four faculties, sixteen colleges, 37 departments, and 29 specialised research centres at Bharathidasan University. Within the University, there are 260 college representatives that serve 2600 college students and students. The University Departments/Schools offer 150 M.A., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.C.A., and M.Tech. programmes, as well as 40 PG programmes.
