The state government reportedly requested the university to enroll students based on an evaluation by the state’s high school school board (and two) or an equivalent school board. A West Bengal government report suggests that entrance exams should not be conducted for admission to the PG level. The state legislature exam was also canceled due to the Covid 19 pandemic, and students passed without a medical examination. “We oppose the decision to abolish entrance exams at UG or PG level.
